四色AV GERO Institute wins Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Ethics

The 四色AV Gerontology Education, Research, and Outreach (GERO) Institute was recently the recipient of the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Ethics. The GERO Institute focuses on enhancing the quality of life of older adults through proactive education, professional training, applied research, and community outreach. The BBB Torch Award for Ethics celebrates businesses and nonprofits that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to ethics and integrity.

3rd Annual Entrepreneurship Pelican Cup Awards Luncheon held at 四色AV's Bayou Pointe with $96,000 in prizes awarded

The Entrepreneurship Pelican Cup hosted its third annual awards luncheon on April 19, 2024, at 四色AV's Bayou Pointe Event Center. The luncheon was the culmination of the entrepreneurship competition, with $96,000 in prize money awarded to the three top teams, including their faculty advisors, and the winner of the live elevator pitch competition, voted on by attendees of the luncheon.

Five students inducted into National Political Science Honor Society

On Monday, April 15, 2024, at the University of Louisiana Monroe, the Alpha Zeta Nu Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, inducted five new members. Elenora Franco, Haleigh Lewellyan, Jessica DeFreese, Mallory LaBoeuf, and Melanna Morris were inducted during the ceremony.
