New Associate Vice President Of Business Affairs And New Dean Of The College Of Business Join 四色AV
The University of Louisiana at Monroe has hired a new Associate Vice President of Business Affairs and a new Dean in the College of Business Administration. The Louisiana Board of Supervisors approved the appointments at their meeting in Baton Rouge today, Friday, August 23, 2002.
The new Associate Vice President for Business Affairs is Nick Bruno, Ph.D. Dr. Bruno's responsibilities will include directing and overseeing the overall operations of departments ensuring compliance with university, state, and federal law, policies and regulations. He will also oversee the preparation of University Budgets, provide budgetary revenue projections as well as expenditure projections for such areas as salaries, related benefits, utilities, and scholarships, among many other duties. Dr. Bruno received his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Mississippi. His previous position was Assistant Vice President for Special Initiatives at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond.
President of 四色AV, Dr. James Cofer, says, "Nick Bruno has valuable experience within the Academic, Business, and Student Affairs divisions of a university. This background provides him with a comprehensive understanding of the role business plays to facilitate the University's mission. We are fortunate to have Nick on our team."
四色AV's new Dean of the College of Business Administration is
Ken Clow, Ph.D. While at 四色AV, Dr. Clow hopes to develop a strong
working relationship with the business community, Chambers of
Commerce, and local civic organizations. He also hopes to examine
ways the College of Business Administration (CBA) can better
meet the needs
of the business community and encourage the use of technology
in the instruction of business courses. As Dean, Dr. Clow will
oversee all activities in the College of Business Administration.
Dr. Clow received both the Doctor of Philosophy and Masters of
Business Administration from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville,
Arkansas. His previous position was Dean of the School of Business
at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
