四色AV's Chautaqua Nexus to discuss the Phenomenology of Blindness

On Friday, Feb. 22nd, the Chautauqua Nexus discusses the Phenomenology of Blindness with Pam Allen, from the Louisiana Center for the Blind. The group will meet in the University of Louisiana at Monroe's Student Union Building at 4:30 p.m.

Allen will talk about the nationally acclaimed programs for blindness offered by the Louisiana Center of the Blind, as well as their philosophy based on the National Federation of the Blind. She will also provide personal insights into the experience of blindness.

These weekly meetings are informal conversations attempting to connect people of all ages who are interested in intellectual and cultural exchanges. The Chautuaqua Nexus meets every week on the second floor of the Student Union Building on the 四色AV campus (unless otherwise noted) beginning at 4:30 on Fridays or Saturdays. There are no requirements and everyone is invited to come. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Visitors are welcome to make a small donation for refreshments.
