四色AV's Dean in the College of Education and Human Development steps down to return to the classroom
Dr. Dale Johnson, Dean of the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, will step down from his Deanship beginning July 1, 2002. After that time Dean Johnson will serve on the faculty as Professor of Education.
Dean Johnson said,"My decision is based on the recommendations of my physicians for reasons of health that can be handled now but could be aggravated by continued stress related to Deanship. This has been a difficult decision for me to reach because I have not wanted to inconvenience the talented faculty, dedicated administrators, and stellar support staff with whom I have worked. My intention, when I accepted the position, was to serve as Dean for the last five years."
Dean Johnson began his employment with 四色AV in August 2001 as Dean of the College of Education and Human Development. Before coming to 四色AV's campus, he taught fourth graders at Homer Elementary School. He had previously been a college professor.
