Entergy Presents Second Half Of Grant To 四色AV
Entergy recently presented the second half of a $20,000 grant to the University of Louisiana at Monroe as part of the Entergy Charitable Foundation Excellence in Education Investment Fund.
四色AV received the grant for a pilot project that will provide training in classroom management, math and science for teachers in rural Franklin Parish. Also, outstanding teachers will provide training in "real world teaching" for 四色AV undergraduates in the College of Education.
"The goal of each of these initiates is to better prepare Louisiana teachers for the classroom, and give them the new tools to help improve student performance," said Renae Conley, President & CEO of Entergy Louisiana. "Entergy is pleased to support innovative approaches like these that hold real promise and can have a lasting impact on Louisiana's children."
Entergy and the Council for a Better Louisiana's Forum for Education Excellence granted $225,000 in awards to Louisiana universities for the 2001-2002 grant cycle.
