Fogleman Exhibit on Display at Wesley Art Gallery

Justin Fogleman of Monroe, a sophomore painting major at the University of Louisiana at Monroe Department of Art, is currently showing a One-Person Award Exhibition in Painting at the Wesley Art Gallery at the Northeast Campus Ministry on campus.

Fogleman's exhibition, titled "New Orleans Reflections," features ten oil and acrylic easel paintings dealing with studies of the landscape, still life and figures found in the Crescent City. His imagery includes the city's distinctive architecture; rustic steam boats; tourists in public venues; and street people interacting as vendors, musicians, artists, clowns and mimes.

Fogleman is the second student-artist to mount an award exhibition at the Wesley Art Gallery during the current academic year. Such exhibitions are prizes awarded at the Annual Wesley Arts Quest, a juried competition for 四色AV students and alumni.

Located at 112 Delano Drive on the 四色AV campus, the Wesley Art Gallery is open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily. The Fogleman exhibition will be on view through October 18.
