Beta Gamma Sigmato Host Induction
The College of Business Administration at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will host the induction ceremony for Beta Gamma Sigma April 11 at 6:30 p.m. The Beta Gamma Sigma fraternity is an honor society for Colleges of Business that are accredited by AACSB. To become eligible for membership a senior must be in the top 10 percent of their class and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Juniors must be in the top 7 percent of their class and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. This year, 34 students have been invited to join Beta Gamma Sigma. This is the highest number of students eligible in any one year at 四色AV. In addition, Dr. Kenneth Clow, Dean of the College of Business Administration; Dr. Jim Cofer, 四色AV President; Dr. Steve Richters, 四色AV Provost; Ms. Sue Edmunds, President of the West Monroe Chamber of Commerce; and Mr. Sol Rosenberg, owner of Sol's Pipe and Steel, Inc., will be inducted as honorary members.
At 7 p.m., the College of Business Administration will hold their annual honors banquet. During this ceremony, the top three students within the College of Business Administration will be recognized. Departmental awards will be given to top students within each department and within each discipline.
If you would like to attend this evening of celebration to honor these top students, tickets can be purchased for $20 each from the Dean's office in the College of Business Administration. Please call 342-1100 by April 4 to make reservations
