四色AV Names 2004 Outstanding Professors

The 2004 Outstanding Professor Award winners at the University of Louisiana at Monroe have been announced. The Outstanding Professor Awards are given annually to those professors who exhibit excellence in teaching, research, and service throughout the year.

The Office of Academic Affairs will host a panel discussion with the awardees from 4:30 -5:30 p.m., followed by a reception and awards presentation from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. in the University Conference Center on the 7th floor of the 四色AV Library on Monday April 26th.

"Because of their outstanding overall accomplishments, these individuals were nominated for the award by their colleagues or students and were selected by a committee of their peers. This award is doubly meaningful, therefore, because it provides recognition from both the students and the faculty and staff," said Dr. Stephen Richters, 四色AV Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
