Spring Enrollment Increases at 四色AV
The University of Louisiana at Monroe reports an increase in enrollment for the spring 2004 semester. This marks the second consecutive semester that 四色AV has had a boost in students.
Enrollment figures for the spring 2004 semester show 7,976 students enrolled in classes. That figure represents a 0.8% increase in enrollment from last spring's count of 7914 students.
University officials point to a turn around at the university for the upswing in enrollment.
"Our enrollment increase is reflective of the changes being made at this institution. Last fall's enrollment increase, the first one we had seen in 9 years, was also an indication of change at 四色AV. Our group efforts are improving this university every day and making it even more student-focused," said 四色AV Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Stephen Richters.
Lisa Miller, Director of Recruitment and Admissions at 四色AV said, "The increase in spring enrollment reflects the combined efforts of the administration, faculty, staff, and continuing students commitment to the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Spring enrollment not only reflects the work of the recruitment staff, it is indicative of the universities' philosophy of "students first".
