Emerging Scholars Banquet Highlights Students and Their Faculty Mentors

The 四色AV Emerging Scholars Banquet will be held on November 15, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in the 四色AV Conference Center on the seventh floor of the library. All students and faculty members involved in the program during the spring and fall semesters of 2004 have been invited to this event and will be honored for their involvement.

Emerging Scholars was started in the spring of 2003 as a means to bring together outstanding students and dedicated faculty members, who work on a variety of projects. Students selected for the program receive a stipend of $400 per semester to participate as "junior colleagues" in the professional activities of professors. Whether in science or history, art or agriculture, Emerging Scholars and their mentors are adding important new ideas and creations to mankind's body of knowledge.
