Computer Science Majors Compete in Local Programming Contest
Eleven computer science majors at 四色AV competed for positions on two programming teams and various prizes in the Association for Computing Machinery's local programming contest recently.
Devin Canterberry earned a position on the programming team and a 256 Mb USB key by solving two problems in 304 minutes. Corey Bordelon won 2nd place, and Thom Savage won 3rd place. They both solved two problems.
Students Paul Gullette, Matt Michels, Patrick Lewis and Paul Boquet each solved one problem.
The top six contestants will form two programming teams that will travel to LSU in early November to compete in the regional ACM programming contest.
