四色AV to retire Indian mascot Aug. 31

The community is invited to attend a retirement ceremony of 四色AV's Indian mascot prior to 四色AV's football game versus Alcorn State on Thursday, Aug. 31.

The ceremony, scheduled to begin at 6:45 p.m. in Malone Stadium, will honor 四色AV's history, said Keith Brown, executive director of alumni and community relations at 四色AV.

"We encourage all alumni and friends of the University to be in attendance as we pay recognition to our Indian mascot and its proud and rich history with this special ceremony."
