David Gunnell will host a Chautauqua Nexus entitled “Invisible Children”

The educational and cultural Chautauqua Nexus series continues its semester roster with two scheduled discussions.

David Gunnell will host a Chautauqua Nexus entitled “Invisible Children” Thursday, Nov. 2.

Rob Howard will host another Nexus Monday, Nov. 6 entitled “Louisiana Hurricanes of 2005: Katrina and Rita from a Meteorologist’s Perspective.”

Tae Yun Kim will present “Learning to Hate Americans. Do Global Media Nurture Future Terrorists Around the World?” Thursday, Nov. 9.

All events are scheduled at 7:15 p.m. in room 134 of the Airway Science Building (at the corner of Northeast Avenue & Filhiol Street).

Nexus presentations are free, informal and open to the public. Everyone is invited to attend. ËÄÉ«AV FRYS students are encouraged to attend and sign in.

“The Nexus is an opportunity for intellectual and cultural exchange,” said Joe McGahan, ËÄÉ«AV psychology professor and Chautauqua Nexus organizer.
