Envision 四色AV 2006 set for Nov. 9
On the evening of Nov. 9 at the Monroe Civic Center, the University of Louisiana at Monroe will host Envision 四色AV 2006, an annual event that celebrates 四色AV's relationship with the community, and showcases the benefits of this progressive partnership.
Two years ago, the first Envision brought together almost a thousand alumni, employees and friends of the university to celebrate 四色AV. Last year, the event was cancelled due to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
This year's event will mark the culmination of 四色AV's 75th anniversary year, with highlights of the university's accomplishments and a special address by 四色AV President James E. Cofer, who will discuss the current state of the university and future challenges.
四色AV's alumni, friends, and community will be recognized for their continuing support of the university. The Hall of Distinction Award, an honor given to an alum, friend or supporter of 四色AV who has admirably served the university, will be awarded.
In recognizing 四色AV's 75th anniversary, the event will also feature a drawing for a high-quality .75-carat round-cut GIA certified and documented solitaire diamond. Envision 四色AV 2006 will begin with a reception and cash bar at 6 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $30 per person and $240 per table of eight (includes meal and wine). Seating is limited to 900 people. Dress is cocktail attire. Tickets are on sale now. Contact the office of University Relations for ticket information at (318) 342-5440.
