Instructor elected as vice president of the Louisiana Foreign Language Teachers Association
MarÃa Blanca Wortham, an instructor in the foreign languages department at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, has been elected vice president of the Louisiana Foreign Language Teachers Association.
Wortham will serve a two-year term and then assume the presidency. As vice president, she is in charge of the state conference. She continues in a tradition of excellence after being selected Outstanding University Spanish Professor in the nation by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese in 2005.
