COP doctoral students win top honors at Neuroscience Research Day student competition

Two doctoral students in the University of Louisiana Monroe College of Pharmacy Department of Basic Pharmaceutical Sciences, Prashant Nedungadi and Naresh Genabai, were awarded first-place prizes in their respective categories at the Neuroscience Research Day Student Research Poster Competition at the LSUHSC-Shreveport medical campus Oct. 15.

ËÄÉ«AV COP students presented three of the 22 posters in the competition.

Department Head Dr. Karen Briski stated, “I am very pleased to see this prestigious recognition of the quality research that is carried out in the College of Pharmacy graduate program. I am proud that our students serve as excellent ambassadors of our program, and acknowledge their role in enhancing our visibility throughout the state.â€
