ËÄÉ«AV Interfraternity Council announces golf tournament winners

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Interfraternity Council, in an effort to promote Greek Unity, hosted its first golf tournament April 3 at The Links at Muny Golf Course.

“The Greeks have been making tremendous progress on building Greek Unity,” said IFC Golf Tournament Director Brook Sebren of Kappa Alpha Order. “This tournament was not meant to be a fundraiser… It was a push for fraternities to interact and help foster better relationships between each other.”

This first Greek Warhawk Golf Scramble consisted of several two-man teams from each of the respected IFC fraternities on campus. Winners included:

• First place - Grant Landry and Dallas Jenkins of Kappa Alpha Order
• Second Place - David Hall and Cory Powell of Kappa Sigma
• Third Place - Max Antony and Earnest Finch of Kappa Sigma
• Closest to the Hole Award - Winston Mahler of Delta Sigma Phi
• Long Drive Award - Cody Culbreath of Kappa Sigma

This event is intended to be an annual one.
