12th Annual ËÄÉ«AV Student Juried Art Exhibition to be at Bry Art Gallery April 6 - May 1
The next University of Louisiana at Monroe art exhibition, which runs from April 6-May 1, is the 12th Annual ËÄÉ«AV Student Juried Art Exhibition. It will showcase the university students’ work selected by an outside juror.
It is anticipated that 35-50 works will be chosen from the areas of drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, graphic design, and ceramics.
Awards selected by the juror are provided by Gretchen Dean, The ËÄÉ«AV Division of Art, Kenneth and Terri O’Neal, Sanford Art Products, R&F Paints, and Databank IMX. Other awards are selected by the respective donors. This event is sponsored in part by the ËÄÉ«AV Campus Activities Board.
An awards ceremony and reception will occur Thursday, April 9, at 6 p.m. The community is encouraged to attend both the ceremony and exhibition, which are free and open to the public.
Bry Art Gallery’s hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m.-12 p.m. on Friday. It will be closed for Spring Break from April 10-17.
