四色AV's NPHC steps it up a notch at MLK Jr. Middle School's Greek Day

The University of Louisiana at Monroe National Pan-Hellenic Council was a hit at the Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School's Greek Day Friday, May 1.

All nine of the member organizations participated. In addition to stepping and strolling, the NPHC also set up informational booths and gave speeches about the importance of staying in school and attending college.

NPHC President Brandon Rasberry, a marketing junior from Shreveport, said that the response was amazing. "It seems the community knows our organizations very well, so much so that the kids of the school actually wore the colors of their favorites in large number. This is the first time that the school has done a program like this, and I am sure that next year will be an even bigger event for the school, the community and 四色AV."

The NPHC at 四色AV is committed to providing community service and promoting the welfare of the campus and the community. It functions as a standard-setting body for the affiliate organizations and strives to foster and maintain a cooperative environment among member fraternities and sororities. The council serves as a forum for the consideration of important issues and acts as a coordinator of activities and matters of common interest.
