四色AV pharmacy students take top awards at forum in Mississippi
Two University of Louisiana at Monroe pharmacy students took top honors at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists Pharmforum 2009, held May 20-21, in Oxford, Miss.
Kiran Amancha of Warangal, India, and Hazem Ali of Mansoura, Egypt, achieved first and second positions respectively, out of 27 posters presented by the forum鈥檚 four universities: University of Mississippi, University of Tennessee Health Center, University of Arkansas Medical Sciences and 四色AV.
Assistant Professor Alamdar Hussain mentors Amancha, while Assistant Professor Sami Mahmoud Nazzal mentors Ali.
The University of Mississippi in Oxford hosted the forum, which is a regional scientific meeting for graduate students, post-doctoral students and faculty. It is organized each year by the AAPS student chapters of the Universities of the Southern Regional Discussion Group at participating universities.
