四色AV鈥檚 Matthews serves on LLA committees
Melinda F. Matthews, Interlibrary Loan/Reference Librarian, is serving on two committees this year for the Louisiana Library Association.
Matthews serves on the Louisiana Library Association Anthony H. Benoit Mid-Career Award Committee and the Louisiana Library Association Scholarship Committee. She is also the Subject Specialists Section Representative of the LLA Presidential Committee.
Matthews earned her master's degree in Library and Information Science from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in May 1990.
She earned a bachelor's degree in English in December 1988 from McNeese State University in Lake Charles.
She has worked at the 四色AV Library since July 1990, where she started as Humanities Reference Librarian. She became Interlibrary Loan/Reference Librarian in January 1992.
