ËÄÉ«AV to offer online medical Spanish class

The Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will offer an online medical Spanish class during the Maymester from May 17-June 4. The course is aimed at students entering the health care industry, and requires an elementary knowledge of the language.

“The course has traditionally been taught on campus,” Dr. Ruth Smith, professor and foreign languages department head, said. “But the growing need for access to such resources has led to the department’s decision to put the course online.”

For more information contact Smith at 318-342-1526 or rusmith@ulm.edu.
