Phi Kappa Phi earns merit award at national convention
The University of Louisiana at Monroe chapter of Phi Kappa Phi International honor society earned a chapter of merit award at its national convention, held Aug. 4-8 in Kansas City.
The award included a $100 contribution to the chapter, according to 四色AV鈥檚 Melissa Melancon, a convention voting delegate and chapter treasurer. A new slate of regional vice presidents and national officers were also elected at the convention, which included training for officers and presented new corporate sponsors offering discounts to honor society members.
Phi Kappa Phi is the nation's oldest, largest, and most selective honor society for all academic disciplines.
