ËÄÉ«AV’s Director of Broadcasting earns competitive conference scholarship

Joel Willer, director of university broadcasting for the University of Louisiana at Monroe, was recently awarded a competitive scholarship to attend the Public Radio in Mid-America’s Winter 2010 Leadership Conference from February 3-5 in New Orleans.

“This will be my first public radio professional development opportunity since joining KEDM,” Willer said. “I’m looking forward to getting the opportunity to meet and network with the leaders and managers of the public radio industry.”

PRIMA is among the largest public radio regional organizations in the United States, with member stations in 20 states. The group provides opportunities to discuss the development and advancement of the public radio industry.
