Former ɫAV football player helps others “tackle” writing at seminar July 24-25
Ernest Hill, a former football player at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, will conduct a seminar on the basics of book writing and publishing at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites in Monroe, July 24-25.
Hill covers topics to help a broad range of writers, such as how to develop a story, how to secure an agent and how to acquire a book deal.
Pre-registration and $175 fee is required to attend.
The Oak Grove native attended then-Northeast Louisiana University for two years on a football scholarship when injuries ended his football career.
Hill finished a degree in social sciences at the University of California, Berkeley, and his masters in Africana Studies at Cornell University in Africana Studies. Hill earned his doctoral degree at the University of California in Los Angeles.
