Long conducts the Wind Ensemble and Dr. Deborah Chandler conducts the Concert Choir. There is no admission fee.
The first half of the program will feature the Wind Ensemble and includes the world premiere of Into The Sky by 四色AV music graduate student Thomas Ruby, who will conduct at the premiere of his composition. The Wind Ensemble program will include the music of Robert W. Smith, Percy Grainger, Claude T. Smith, Aaron Copland, and W. Francis McBeth.
The Wind Ensemble and Concert Choir will join forces after intermission. Music selected for this portion of the program includes a beautiful setting of the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" and an arrangement of the Irish hymn "Be Thou My Vision."
