四色AV appoints Larry Simpson as executive director of the 四色AV Foundation

Tennessee native Larry Simpson was appointed executive director of the University of Louisiana at Monroe Foundation Feb. 1, after more than 25 years of work in development and fund raising for higher education and nonprofit organizations.

Simpson comes to 四色AV from Bryn Mawr, Penn., where he lived for 12 years and most recently managed an individual consulting practice. The majority of his career has been in the field of individual major gifts during multi-year campaigns.

"I am excited to be a part of the 四色AV family as we embark on a new era of resource development by strengthening existing relationships and forming new ones," said Simpson.

"As we go forward together, our best efforts will be required for total success, and I am proud to be a part of a university with a stellar faculty, outstanding students, enthusiastic alumni, and supportive friends."

Prior to his consulting, Simpson served as senior associate vice president for LeBow College of Business at Drexel University in Philadelphia.

In addition to his higher education experience, Simpson has worked in commercial real estate development, having served as vice president for marketing in a private firm.

Simpson earned a bachelor's degree in cultural anthropology from Princeton University and a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation from The American College.
