四色AV's Clark is featured speaker at NATS conference

Mark Ross Clark, associate professor of music and director of opera and musical theater at 四色AV, was an invited speaker for the Mid-Atlantic Regional National Association of Teachers of Singing annual conference April 13-14 at the University of Maryland, College Park.

He was also invited to adjudicate the finals of the NATS regional vocal competition that followed his workshop.

The National Association of Teachers of Singing, Inc. is the largest professional association of teachers of singing in the world with more than 7,000 members in the United States, Canada, and over 25 other countries.

NATS is perhaps best known for its "student auditions" beginning at the chapter level and progressing to conferences and national events.

The Mid-Atlantic Region of NATS is one of the largest conferences and is comprised of singers and their teachers from Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Washington D.C.

Clark was the featured clinician at the conference and presented an interactive workshop based on his book, "Singing, Acting, and Movement in Opera."
