四色AV's Jones published in The New York Times
Dr. Terry Jones, professor of history at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, recently published articles concerning the Civil War in The New York Times.
"The Jewish Rebel," published on April 18, 2012, offers an insightful look at Confederacy War Department Secretary Judah P. Benjamin, arguably the most powerful and controversial member of the Confederate cabinet, Jones said. Some have referred to him as the "Brains of the Confederacy."
Appearing on April 25, another Jones article, "The Fall of New Orleans," details how Union Flag Officer David Farragut and the Navy won a "stunning victory" that put the Union one step closer to securing the entire Mississippi River and cutting the Confederacy in two when they captured New Orleans in April 1862.
