Scholastic author Cameron to visit 四色AV Nov. 29

The University of Louisiana at Monroe鈥檚 fall semester event schedule for the Campus Activities Board will conclude with an appearance and lecture from author Sharon Cameron, at 7 p.m. in Stubbs Hall Room 100, on Thursday, Nov. 29.

The event is free to 四色AV students, faculty, and staff.

Cameron鈥檚 book, 鈥淭he Dark Unwinding,鈥 is the next exciting offering from Scholastic Books, after the culmination of the break-away success of 鈥淭he Hunger Games鈥 trilogy.

Cameron鈥檚 book, which is sure to be a hit, will be available at the event. Cameron will discuss her debut novel, the writing process, and first-time publishing process.

Cameron describes her novel: 鈥淜atharine Tulman discovers a fantastic world where science seems like magic when she arrives at her uncle鈥檚 remote estate to have him committed to a lunatic asylum. But instead of a lunatic she is confronted with a genius inventor with his own set of child-like rules, a brooding apprentice and a mysterious young student of science, the dwindling family fortune and the hundreds of families her uncle is using it to support. Having Uncle Tulman sent to the asylum is no longer an easy choice. And that鈥檚 when Katharine Tulman begins seeing things that aren鈥檛 really there.鈥
