ËÄÉ«AV to showcase “Supernatural” Nov. 14
At 7:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 14, in Spyker Theater on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus, ËÄÉ«AV Opera will perform “Supernatural,” a scene program featuring scenes, songs, and arias from operas and musicals that reflect the supernatural theme.
The program is free and open to the public.
Included will be opera excerpts from “The Magic Flute,” and “The Medium by Menotti.”
There will also be known and lesser known musical songs from Broadway include “Carrie,” “The Last Five Years,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown,” and “Newsies.”
Dr. Mark Ross Clark, head of ËÄÉ«AV opera will direct, and the pianist/coach is Kajsa Wilkins.
