Estis to present at Rutgers

On Friday, Sept. 21, Catherine Estis, Ph.D., executive director for the University of Louisiana at Monroe鈥檚 TRIO Programs,  will be presenting at Rutgers University鈥檚 fifth Annual Performance Measuring and Reporting Conference in Trenton, N.J.

The theme of the conference is 鈥淕reat Expectation: Getting Results from Performance Budgeting, Measurement, and Reporting Systems, 鈥� which aims to address topics regarding public performance and highlighting examples of government organization leaders in the field actively pursuing performance regimes. 

Estis will present 鈥淓nabling More Data Based Decision Making: Using Evidence-Based Outcomes to Justify Public Sector Programs, A Quantitative Study.鈥�

According to Estis, her presentation covers evidence-based program evaluation, which can be a powerful tool to effectively make the case for an organization鈥檚 success and continued existence.

Using quantitative tools, Estis鈥� research provides a model whereby programs can take a hard look at answering the following questions:
