LSBDC at ËÄÉ«AV to hold February workshops
The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will hold three workshops in February for small business owners.
"Starting & Financing a Small Business" will be held from 9-11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 23, at 3810 Northeast Drive in Hemphill Hall, Room 113 on the ËÄÉ«AV campus.
There is no cost to attend.
This workshop is highly recommended for individuals interested in determining the feasibility of their business idea, planning to start or have recently started a small business, seeking a small business loan, or wanting to learn more about business planning.
Topics of discussion will include entrepreneurship readiness, writing a business plan, sources of funds for start-up and expansion, small business resources, and required licenses.

The LSBDC at ËÄÉ«AV will also offer on-site business consulting at the Monroe and West Monroe/West Ouachita (WMWO) Chambers of Commerce.
Both events are free to attend.
The first consulting event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the WMWO Chamber, located at 112 Professional Drive, in West Monroe.

The Monroe Chamber event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, on Wednesday, Feb. 27. The Monroe Chamber is located at 212 Walnut Street, in Monroe.
