四色AV professors pen article about collaboration between English and Health Studies
University of Louisiana at Monroe faculty members Dr. Paula Griswold, assistant professor in the Department of Health Studies, and Dr. Sandra Hill, associate director of the School of Humanities and program coordinator of English, published an article, "Potential for Collaborative Writing in Professional Communication and Health Studies Through Service-Learning" in "Business Communication Quarterly," a peer-reviewed journal of the Association for Business Communication.

The article discusses instructional approaches in the two courses, the theory and pedagogy on which the approaches are based, and practical ideas on how a collaborative professional writing/health studies service-learning project might be coordinated.
The authors believe these ideas may provide a model for collaboration across disciplines.
