四色AV streamlines scholarship application process; scholarship deadline extended to April 10

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Foundation has partnered with the Office of Recruitment and Admissions to launch their online scholarship search and application software by AcademicWorks.

This new program was launched March 18, with the opening of 四色AV鈥檚 foundation application process. The application period for foundation scholarships has been extended to April 10.

鈥淭his venture brings us one step closer to automating the scholarship search and awarding process at 四色AV,鈥 said Jennifer Malone, director of admissions.

鈥淛ust a few years ago, this process was completely paper-driven. Now, when students apply online, scholarship reviewers and university scholarship offices will manage the applications and award data online as well. In the end, this means a less tedious application process for students and university staff. We expect this to translate into a more streamlined awarding process for students.鈥

The two offices have worked closely with the 四色AV Computing Center to ensure a smooth transition and launch of the new software.

Admissions and scholarship staff were briefed on the basic workings of the site to be prepared to answer applicant questions, and student workers tested the system to identify possible issues before 鈥済oing live.鈥

The link to the scholarship search on the website will automatically take students to the 四色AV AcademicWorks portal, which can be found at

Information on all available foundation scholarships is visible at this site.

Because the login and password require my四色AV credentials, only students who are admitted to 四色AV鈥攊ncluding current students鈥攚ill may apply for scholarships.

鈥淲e anticipate launching our 四色AV freshman academic scholarships on this site and hope to follow up with out-of-state scholarships and transfer scholarships,鈥 Malone continued.
