Explanation of changes to be made based on these results:

This was the first certification exam administration; incoming administration and faculty are in the process of updating the program curriculum to align with required AIC student learning outcomes (which are aligned, in turn, with the exam portions). As the revised curriculum is implemented, student scores on the exam portions are expected to improve. Additionally, direct, course-embedded assessment measures will be implemented beginning with the 2016-17 academic year as follows for this student learning outcome:

4030 Construction Safety: research paper on an assigned safety plan topic 4040 Construction Contracts: resume and cover letter
