Master of Science in Psychology

Program Requirements

Regular Admission
Applicants must have earned a baccalaureate degree with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scaleora 3.0 GPA on the last 60 hours of attempted coursework to be regularly admitted.

Applicants who have earned any graduate or terminal degree from a from a college or university accredited and recognized at the institutional level by the US Department of Education (USDOE) will qualify forregularadmission to a master鈥檚 program provided they meet all other eligibility requirements.
or
Meet a minimum formula score of 800 (GPA x GRE)
and
9 undergraduate credit hours of psychology, of which 3 must be statistics or equivalent

Conditional Admission
Applicants who do not meet the requirements for regular admission may qualify for conditional admission at the discretion of the Psychology graduate program coordinator in concert with the Dean of Graduate School.


Frequently Asked Questions

Is the program offered online?
The concentration in Forensic Psychology is offered fully online as well as the general MS in Psychology. The psychometrics concentration can be finished online with the exception of one semester on campus.

Do I have to write a thesis?
The thesis option is not required; however, students planning to pursue a PhD are encouraged to complete a thesis.
