ËÄÉ«AV Announces ‘The Warhawk Way’ Homecoming Week events

ËÄÉ«AV Homecoming 2022

MONROE, LA – University of Louisiana Monroe alumni near and far are invited to come back to the bayou to celebrate homecoming during the first week of October. Festivities begin on Monday, October 3 and culminate on Saturday, October 8 as the Warhawks take on Coastal Carolina University. Kick-off for the football game is at 7 p.m. in Malone Stadium.

Monday, October 3 at 6 p.m. – Homecoming Parade on CampusÌý
The football team, ËÄÉ«AV spirit squads, the Sound of Today Marching Band, homecoming court and more will parade through ËÄÉ«AV’s campus at this family-friendly event.

Tuesday, October 4 at 6 p.m. – Hawktobertfest on Campus
Everyone’s favorite beer sampling event is back at the Laird Weems Center! Ticket information can be found at .

Wednesday, October 5 at 5:30 p.m. – University Mile
One of the most treasured traditions at ËÄÉ«AV, the University Mile is open to all community members. The one-mile race begins at Hemphill Hall and finishes at the Activity Center. Register for the 38th annual University Mile in the front office of the Activity Center.

Thursday, October 6 at 5 p.m. – Homecoming Pep Rally & Marketplace in Downtown Monroe
Go Hawks Go! Cheer on the Warhawks at the pep rally in Downtown Monroe, in conjunction with the Downtown Gallery Crawl at the corner of Desiard and 4th St. in Downtown Monroe. Starting at 5 p.m. there will be a ËÄÉ«AV Marketplace with specials for all those in maroon and gold. Meet your 2022 Homecoming Court and hear from Coach Bowden, football captains, ËÄÉ«AV spirit squads and the Sound of Today Marching Band at 6 p.m.

Friday, October 7 at 9 p.m. – NPHC Homecoming Step Show
ËÄÉ«AV fraternities and sororities team up to present the much-anticipated NPHC Homecoming Step Show. Steeped in tradition, the chapters will stroll, step, dance and cheer at 9:00 p.m. in Fant-Ewing Coliseum. All community members are invited to purchase tickets at .
