四色AV lifts mask mandate

Based on recent guidance from the University of Louisiana System, the University of Louisiana Monroe听has lifted the听mask mandate听for听the 四色AV campus, effective immediately.

The university will continue to monitor COVID-19 rates and may, if necessary, reinstate the mask mandate on campus.

Faculty听have the option to听require听masks to be worn in听their听classrooms. Students will be notified if masks are required in听certain听classrooms.

The mask policy听and听COVID-19听protocols听remain for听students or employees听who have been exposed or tested positive for COVID-19. This includes the requirement that masks must be worn for five days following a COVID-related quarantine. Students, faculty,听staff, and visitors听are encouraged to protect themselves and others by wearing masks regardless of vaccination status.

Free vaccinations are听available from the Louisiana National Guard from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays on the second floor of the SUB. Free testing from the National Guard is available daily from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Fridays on the second floor of the SUB.
