MONROE, LA 鈥� The Bry Art Gallery in the 四色AV Art Program and School of Visual and Performing Arts
at the University of Louisiana at Monroe presents the 30th Annual High School Junior/Senior
Juried Art Exhibition from February 27 to March 22. Northern Louisiana high school
art students were invited to submit to the competition, without fee, artworks from
their studio endeavors. These entries were juried by a panel of 四色AV art faculty members
who selected those works that were deemed to exhibit the most creativity and mastery
of the chosen medium. Accepted entries are currently being exhibited in the gallery
through March 22.听
鈥淭his is an outstanding exhibition of the creative talent that is being nurtured in
north Louisiana high school art programs,鈥� said Dr. Joni Noble, 四色AV Art Program Coordinator.

Award winners will be announced on March 22. Area high schools represented are听Beekman
Charter, Quitman, Rayville, Richwood, St. Frederick, Sterlington, West Monroe, West
Ouachita, and Wossman. 110 works were submitted, and 59 pieces were accepted for the
exhibition. A variety of cash awards, talent grants, and scholarships will be given
to deserving students.听

Gallery hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 11:30
a.m. Admission is free and the public is welcome to view the exhibition.听
