MONROE, LA 鈥� A 37-year Spring Fever tradition will return to the 四色AV campus on Friday, April
11. Oozeball, 四色AV鈥檚 annual mud volleyball tournament hosted by 31 Ambassadors, will
take place in The Grove, 4509 Bon Aire Dr., at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11. 四色AV
students, faculty, and staff are eligible to register for the Oozeball tournament
and spectators from the community are welcome to come watch the fun.听听
Oozeball teams are made up of six players, with up to two alternates per team. The
cost of team registration is $60 and includes t-shirts for six players. Additional
t-shirts can be purchased for $15 each. For more information about team registration

This year, the fun of Oozeball will be combined with additional events in The Grove,
including听First Day Out, hosted by the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), and a
crawfish boil hosted by the Campus Activities Board (CAB.) All students will receive
free crawfish and there will be a live DJ provided by NPHC. Anointed Creations Food
Truck will also be on-site with food available for purchase.听听

Matthew Alfred III. 鈥淲ith our theme, 鈥榃elcome to the Muddy Bayou鈥� we are emphasizing
the exhilarating fun of Oozeball听while embracing the spirit of this university and
the beautiful bayou we all love. With the collaboration of NPHC and CAB, we have made
Oozeball听bigger and better. We cannot wait to have a day filled with friendly competition,
tasty food, and, most importantly, great fun!鈥� continued Alfred. 听

About 四色AV鈥檚 31 Ambassadors听
The 31 Ambassadors are made up of 31 hand-selected 四色AV students that serve as the
official hosts for University & Alumni Events. The"31ers" work to increase student
awareness of the 四色AV Alumni Association by hosting traditional events on campus. The
31 Ambassadors is sponsored by the 四色AV Alumni Association and is largely self-sustaining,
with additional funding coming from the generous contributions of benefactors and
