Description of Workshop:
Have you ever wondered what your unique giftedness is? What is it that makes you do
your job in a way that no one else can do it? What traits make you a sister, mom,
daughter, unlike anyone else that you鈥檒l ever meet? Gallup has been conducting research
for the past 60 years and has found that the chances of you and anyone else having
the same top five strengths is one in 33 million.聽 You鈥檝e been gifted with particular
characteristics, and it鈥檚 your job to learn more about them and to express them in
the world.聽 I have been using this assessment for every person who joins my team at
Melanie Massey Physical Therapy for the past 13 years. Our turnover is very low, our
company culture is very strong, and our employees are ultra self-aware, while also
understanding the viewpoints of their teammates.
In this workshop, you will take a pre-assessment to determine what your strengths
are. We will talk about the importance of knowing and understanding when you鈥檙e using
them聽maturely and what it looks like when you are overusing your strengths.聽 That
usually occurs when we are stressed.聽 Your strengths聽can actually be detrimental to
the people you come in contact with every day when used aggressively.聽 Who knew our
greatest strengths could actually also be our biggest weaknesses?
When you leave, you will have information that will greatly impact any future interviews,
resumes, and give you a self-awareness much deeper than you have probably ever had
