Diversity Definition
Diversity encompasses the unique contextual dynamics that extend to and beyond the
similarities and differences with regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation,
age, race, ethnicity, culture, citizenship, nation of origin, health status, ability,
spirituality, religious affiliation, language, political view, social economic status,
and their intersectionality. Diversity contributes to the richness and complexities
of individuals, relationships, and human experiences.
