Faculty and Staff Logo Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

For Personal Use:听听

The university branding assets are protected and should be used only for official university projects and materials. Generally, using a university logo or other branding assets for a personal project is not permitted unless you have explicit permission from the university. These assets are protected by copyright and trademark laws, and unauthorized use can lead to legal issues. It鈥檚 best to consult with OMC to understand your need and potential approval.

For Student Organization Use:

Before moving forward with production, please submit the graphic to the Office of Student Affairs for approval. They are responsible for overseeing student activities, organizations, and events on campus, and their approval is a necessary step in the process.

The Office of Marketing and Communications typically does not manage student requests, as our focus is on broader institutional messaging and branding. Therefore, for any approval related to student events or activities, please contact Student Affairs.

As a faculty advisor, if a student organization plans to use the logo on T-shirts, promotional material, or as part of its official logo, please contact the Office of Student Affairs for approval.

For Internal Use (In Class) :

If a faculty or staff member needs access or plans to use the logo in a 四色AV presentation, paper, poster/project for contest submission, publication, or other purpose, they can download the logo in the correct format for your presentation through the logo download site.

If a faculty or staff member has a unique case for use of the logo, please submit your request to the Office of Marketing & Communications .

For Academic Use:

If a faculty or staff member needs access or plans to use the logo in a 四色AV听 presentation, paper, poster, or project for contest submission, publication, grant application, or similar, you may use the official academic logo if the research or project is sanctioned and approved by the Vice President of Academic Affairs office.

Please contact your major professor or faculty/staff member who is advising or responsible for the project. Please contact your School director or Dean director for permission or any questions regarding the use of the logo in your presentation.
